At Inside Our Community Inc, our mission is to alleviate food insecurities and strengthen communities by delivering groceries, resources, and support services to individuals, families, youth and seniors in need through compassion and volunteerism.

Youth Engagement
Our youth empowerment program focuses on providing lunch and recreational opportunities for young members of the community. Through mentorship and skill-building activities, we aim to nurture the next generation of leaders by going out in the community and showing love and support to the youth.

Our Unique Approach
Inside Our Community Inc. takes a people-centered, community-based approach to addressing homelessness and economic hardship. Rather than focusing solely on services, we prioritize human connection, dignity, and trust. Our team meets individuals where they are—physically and emotionally—by providing direct outreach, essential resources, and supportive engagement within the community.
We emphasize consistency, compassion, and collaboration, working alongside community members and partners to respond to immediate needs while fostering long-term stability and empowerment. By building relationships and creating safe, supportive spaces, we help individuals feel seen, valued, and supported on their path forward.
Community Engagement
Inside Our Community Inc. actively engages with the community to build meaningful relationships, strengthen trust, and create inclusive spaces where individuals and families feel supported. Through outreach events, service initiatives, and collaborative partnerships, we connect people to essential resources while encouraging participation, volunteerism, and shared responsibility in addressing community needs.
Inside Our Community Inc. is a nonprofit organization whose primary purpose is to provide food assistance, basic necessities, and supportive services to individuals and families experiencing homelessness, food insecurity, or financial instability. The organization focuses on strengthening communities by addressing immediate needs while promoting long-term self-sufficiency, wellness, and social support.
Services provided include food distribution, clothing assistance, community outreach, youth engagement programs, and seasonal initiatives such as summer feeding programs for children. These services are delivered through on-site programs, community events, and collaborative partnerships with local organizations.
During the most recent year, an estimated 100 individuals benefited from the organization’s programs and activities, including children, adults, and families in underserved communities. Inside Our Community Inc. continues to expand its reach, increase access to resources, and support community members through inclusive, equitable, and responsive programming
Summer Feed 2026
Starting Summer 2026 we will be launching our new Summer Feed program where we will be in several complexes all over Dekalb, Clayton and Fulton County. We will be providing lunch to children of all ages in apartment communities this summer to help families in need.
